We went scouting around for other animals and heard again over the radio that lions had been spotted so our driver headed off to find two lionesses lying in the grass.

Next our driver was told over the radio that a cheetah had been spotted so we zoomed off in search of it and found it lying in the grass hiding from the sun.

The herd crossed the road right behind our van and they were trying to protect the little elephant so they stormed across with it making the trumpeting noises.

Safari was awesome we went round hunting for animals and a huge herd of elephants appeared - I've hundreds of photos but I'll just put up a few.

We put all of out bags in the tents at our campsite by the entrance to the game reserve and headed off on safari - this was the first animal I saw its a Topi and not the prettiest animal we've seen but as it was my first I thought I'd put it on the blog.

On our way to the game reserve we saw a journey of giraffes (yup that's what they're called!) just a little away from the road so we pulled over to have a look and try out the new camera!

Everything in Africa runs as they say 'on african time' and it wasn't particularly suprising when our minibus started steaming half way to the masai mara and we had to stop by the side of the road to fill it up with water provided by local that seemed to appear from nowhere to help out - our driver promised us everything was 'accuna matata' and soon we were on our way again!
